The 20th National Congress of the CPC is a
very important conference held at a critical moment when the whole Party and
all nationalities are embarking on a new journey of building a great modem
socialist country in all respects and marching towards the second centenary goal. The 20th National Congress of

the second centennial goal. In order to further study and implement the spirit
of the 20th National Congress of the party and promote the construction of Eco-Xi'an,
Professor Gao Tianpeng, Dean of the School of Biological and Environmental
Engineering of Xi'an University , Dean of the Academy of Eco Xi'an and member
of the Xi'an Municipal Decision-making Advisory Committee, was invited to give
a lecture entitled "Chinese-style modernization is the harmonious
coexistence of Man and Nature–High-Quality Development of Ecological
Environment and Construction of Eco Xi'an" at the Xi'an University Cadre
Training Center for the Xi'an Qinling Office system to learn and implement the
spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC. More than 50 cadres from the
Qinling Office in Xi'an attended the training.
Pro. Gao Tianpeng shared his insights on the
20th National Congress of the CPC on the basis of sorting out typical cases of
crimes against the ecological environment; from the formation and development
of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, innovation and practice, to
the strategy and deployment of beautiful China, which is a great project with
practicing the concept of Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable
assets, coordinating the integrated management of mountains, rivers, forests,
farmlands, lakes, and grasslands, promoting harmonious coxistence between man
and nature and achieving the great systems engineering of green development. It
further explains that green development is the fundamental outlet of Chinese-style
modernization, and that the construction of Eco-Xi'an and continuously
strengthening ecological environmental protection in the Qinling Mountains are the
practice of Xi'an for realizing the beauty of China. Finally, based on the
theory and evaluation index system of ecological city and ecological security
system and ecological barriersconstruction, the basic conditions and paths of the
construction of Eco-Xi'an are analyzed., and the work and progress of the
Academy of Eco Xi'an in the past six months were reviewed. By
study of the report of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the important
instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his
visit to Shaanxi ,we were deeply impressed by the systematic, scientific and
popular nature of the theoretical system of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological
Civilization, remembered the "The Top Priorities of the Country",
carried the political responsibility, resolutely acted as the ecological
guardian of the Qinling Mountains and fully promoted high-quality development.
